Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter (1974) - Bloody Kisses (6/10) | Movieclips

Carla wants to know why Captain Kronos carries so much bitterness. Resting beside her in a barn, the vampire hunter gives an answer that makes the monsters personal.

In this excerpt from Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter (1974), Horst Janson's swordsman recalls leaving his mother and little sister behind when he went to war. He returned to find that both had fallen victim to vampirism. Destroying them became his own terrible task. Caroline Munro's Carla listens, then draws him close for a kiss.

The scene, posted by Movieclips as "Bloody Kisses," collected roughly 265,000 views in its first ten hours, far beyond the channel's usual start for uploads of this length. It is an excerpt from Brian Clemens's film, not a new production featuring the characters.

Movieclips also posted scenes of vampire traps and sword fights from the same film. Here, the sword stays out of the action: the scene gives the hunter's pursuit a family history, with Janson delivering the confession from a bed of hay rather than across a drawn blade.
