More Parz's ocean "DLC" comes with a robot named SuBastian
A Patrick Star look-alike and a solitary mollusk turn an Argentine deep-sea expedition into comedy on the Twitch clips channel.
Why this story? One of the most watched videos since yesterday, with 5,876,979 views.
Ocean 2.0 just dropped
The ocean apparently needed an expansion pack. In "Ocean 2.0 just dropped," Parz gives marine biology the video-game treatment, recounting an expedition into Argentina's Mar del Plata Canyon with a remotely operated vehicle named SuBastian.
The Short on More Parz, which collects clips from his Twitch streams, drew nearly six million views since yesterday. Its subject is a 2025 research expedition that, Parz explains, collected physical specimens rather than simply bringing back extraordinary underwater footage.
According to his account, the haul yielded 57 new species, including sea cucumbers, copepods, corals, sea pens and a single mollusk. A starfish resembling SpongeBob's neighbor Patrick supplies the pop-culture connection; Parz's emphatic delivery gives the mollusk its own moment.
Viewers keep returning to that lone mollusk, the robot's name and the possibility that the expedition has found SpongeBob's neighborhood. After "New penguin just dropped," Parz has given his imaginary wildlife update log a considerably bigger setting.
