SIDEMEN FOOTBALL CHALLENGES!

Video summary

Press to jump

0:25Harry asks Simon and Tobi to control balls fired from a launcher at its fastest setting, then score.
4:42Vik sets a precision task: score a goal that goes in off the post.
10:47Harry's next challenge requires three consecutive crossbar hits; the round's result comes at 15:26.
15:54Josh introduces a TikTok-inspired routine combining ball control, volley catches and shooting.

Harry's instruction sounds simple enough: hit three crossbars in a row. For Miniminter and Tobi, the difficulty is keeping the streak alive. As Simon puts it: "Something in the air changes when we hit two."

That round becomes a musical centerpiece in their new football challenge video, with attempts cut to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's "Can't Hold Us." Viewers repeatedly point to the timing of the kicks against the track, trading timestamps for the edits they want others to catch. The crossbar is getting almost as much attention as the players.

The upload reached roughly 390,000 views in ten hours, far beyond the channel's usual first-day pace for regular videos. Football challenges have a long history on Miniminter's channel: his older penalty and kicking-power challenges remain among its most-watched uploads.

Here, a spinning wheel puts the other Sidemen in charge of the tasks. Harry supplies a ball-launcher challenge as well as the crossbar assignment; Vik asks for a goal that goes in off the post. Josh sends a TikTok-inspired control-and-volley routine.

Tobi gets an early surprise of his own after the launcher round: "I didn't think I'd win a round against Simon." But hitting the target is only part of the problem. These challenges demand repeatable precision, and by Josh's routine, fatigue is becoming part of Tobi's attempt too.
