Miniminter's celebrity lookalike round ends with a bleep

Harry Maguire and Daniel Radcliffe are ruled out, but viewers have another name ready when the winning answer is censored.

"I think you're Harry Maguire," a contestant tells the guest standing in front of the red curtains. Wrong profession, as it turns out. Miniminter's new Short sends two teams from football to Harry Potter before the clues finally narrow the field.

The game is to identify which celebrity the guest resembles, using yes-or-no questions. Daniel Radcliffe is rejected, as is Elijah Wood. The teams establish that they are looking for an actor, better known for television than movies, who is Irish and whose name begins with P. A hurried run through Paddy, Patrick and Peter does not solve it.

Someone eventually earns the points, but the winning name is bleeped out. That edit becomes its own talking point: the most-liked comment objects to censoring the answer, while several viewers offer Paul Mescal as their guess. The clip does not audibly confirm that name.

The Short has drawn roughly 78,000 views in eight hours, already several times the channel's usual full-day audience for this format. Its comments have also passed the usual first-day total.

After recent uploads asking viewers to spot fake shoes and watches, Miniminter has switched the object of scrutiny: this time, the clues come from a face rather than a label.
