Fake Nikes extend Miniminter's week of second guesses

Three uploads range from counterfeit spotting with Max Fosh to a talent contestant whose Schwarzenegger impression wrong-footed the panel.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Can you spot the fake Nike shoe? 😳👟Can you spot the fake Nike shoe? 😳👟

A Nike shoe is the latest object of suspicion on Miniminter's channel. After "REAL vs FAKE!", which credits Max Fosh, "Can you spot the fake Nike shoe? 😳👟" gives viewers another authentication puzzle, this time with footwear in focus.

Those two uploads sit beside the week's much bigger guessing game. "We did not see this coming... 😐" has passed seven million views and is comfortably the channel's busiest upload right now. A contestant offers three possible talents: an Arnold Schwarzenegger impression, a sustained operatic note or a speedy Rubik's Cube solve. Mentioning Puccini helps make opera sound plausible; naming purple as a cube color makes the puzzle option rather less convincing.

The impression is the real talent. In the comments, the interesting distinction is between imitating Schwarzenegger's famous catchphrases and being able to keep his voice going through ordinary conversation. Viewers also keep returning to the contestant's use of "eclectic," a small vocabulary detour in a game built around misleading clues.

"REAL vs FAKE!" has reached roughly 1.5 million views and remains the next busiest upload, while the newer Nike clip has a smaller audience. Across the channel, daily viewing is close to its usual level and the subscriber count is unchanged over the week. Nearby, the Sidemen's daily viewing is running at about twice its usual pace. Miniminter's own week belongs to the guessing games, with shoes joining voices as things not to take at face value.

  • Tbf most people can only say Arnold’s famous lines when they do an impression of him he’s got the whole voice

  • I was expecting him to hold a note for 60 seconds in Arnie's voice and solve a rubik's cube while doing it haha

  • That last "come onnn" was perfection 😂
