Marty Music finds three bluesy colors in "Drive My Car"
Nine uploads also bring a bucket-list Languedoc guitar and a full-band Doors performance from Nashville.

This Beatles Intro Shouldn’t Work, But It Does — Drive My Car
A Beatles intro takes Marty Schwartz from A blues to D blues to D major before the verse has even begun. His short breakdown of "Drive My Car" is the week's most watched new Marty Music upload, passing 100,000 views with a lesson about trusting your ear rather than staying inside a single scale.
Schwartz plays the changing phrases separately, then joins the intro to the verse's D-to-G progression. His suggestion that it theoretically shouldn't work has prompted a small music-room debate: viewers discuss whether theory explains a good sound or gets too much credit for creating it. Others get specific about the double stops and the unexpected turn into the verse.
There is a more personal guitar moment in "I Finally Played a Languedoc, the Guitar Trey Anastasio Made Famous." Schwartz says seeing Phish while he was getting into guitar left him wanting to try one. The bucket-list instrument becomes a lesson in "Sample in a Jar," following a descending line on the D string as the chords change around it.
He also steps away from explaining songs to play one. The Marty Music Trio's "Back Door Man" performance pairs his guitar with Dylan Zangwill on organ and vocals and Dekar Justus on drums, recorded at East Iris Studios in Nashville.
The channel added roughly 10,000 subscribers over seven days, although its current daily viewing pace is less than half its usual level. The Beatles breakdown remains its busiest video right now, followed by two practical new lessons: using partial CAGED shapes instead of barring the whole neck, and playing Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" with a first-fret capo and no barre chords.

after that happy sounding intro and first verse, the chorus starts with a B minor. I’ve always loved that. And somehow it still sounds happy.
@GoldTop57See it on YouTubeInteresting, I think it's something people pickup without knowing the theory behind it. It just sticks out for some reason, but it sounds good!
