LegitStreetCars' Alex Palmeri brings a flashlight and a magnet to Max's car-shopping trip, because an editor's dream Honda deserves the same scrutiny as any workshop project. Inside a Wisconsin storage bay sits a 2000 Civic Si, complete with a B16B engine swapped in from a Civic Type R.

Max's plea during the inspection is wonderfully direct: "Do not crush my dreams." Alex checks underneath for corrosion and examines the suspension, while Max explores a cabin with an aftermarket shifter and an S2000 steering wheel. A coin toss settles the final price before the test drive and purchase.

Then the video jumps forward six months. Max has already added cosmetic touches, including underglow and gauges; Alex now brings out brake kits, wheel bearings and maintenance parts. The upload includes a sponsored ceramic-coating segment.

The channel's only new release this week has reached roughly 709,000 views. In the comments, viewers are talking about attainable project cars and remembering their own Honda and Acura builds. Others want Max to document a stereo installation, while mechanically minded viewers are examining the control-arm bushings.

Across the channel, daily views are running at more than twice their usual level, and the subscriber count grew by about 10,000 over the week. WhistlinDiesel 1000 is also drawing above its usual daily audience, while Samcrac and Hoovies Garage are having slower days than normal.

Max's Civic is currently the busiest upload, but the abandoned SL65 AMG from September remains a substantial draw and is now the channel's most-watched regular video. The Hellcat-supercharged Sierra is also gathering views, leaving a small blue Honda in some decidedly muscular workshop company.
