Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Peterson Says It Is One Single Thing

A lecture filmed in Milwaukee in March 2024 supplied Jordan B Peterson's only new upload, and a substantial part of the channel's viewing activity. "Peterson Says It Is One Single Thing" has reached roughly 238,000 views and is its busiest video right now.

The title keeps the subject close to its chest. The description opens it up: Peterson works through Abraham's story, including the command to sacrifice his son, to explore what people surrender when they leave a comfortable life. His argument connects that biblical ordeal with ordinary decisions about parenting, courage and addressing problems that repeatedly consume time. A police officer's request for a single piece of advice also becomes part of the lecture.

For some viewers, the Sunday release has a place in an established routine. Comments describe listening before bed and using the lecture to mark the transition into another week; another picks out Peterson's connection between security, bravery and competence.

The channel drew about 1.1 million views over seven days, while its subscriber count stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is currently well below its usual pace. Among nearby self-improvement channels, Mel Robbins had a much busier week, while The School of Life's weekly viewing total was close to Peterson's.

Two earlier lectures continue to draw viewers: "Follow Whatever Glitters In The Corner" explores resentment through Cain and Abel, while "Why You Read Their Eyes First" examines how stories shape perception. Both include onstage exchanges with writer and commentator Konstantin Kisin, adding a questioning second voice to Peterson's biblical and psychological interpretations.
