James wanted a cat. Jasmin wanted a dog, and their way of settling the question involved a table piled with green, articulated dragon toys.

Their new Short turns that game into the setup for a pet surprise. Labeled May 2026, the challenge has them pulling toys from the pile and collecting points according to each toy's size. They repeatedly draw level before James's final, particularly long dragon gives him the win.

Then the video jumps to October: Jasmin presents him with two kittens, and the pair celebrate holding them. It's a different introduction to the animals after the channel's recent run of kitten choreography, showing the surprise rather than another dance routine.

The Short has drawn roughly 670,000 views in twelve hours. Its estimated first-day audience is more than five times the channel's usual for Shorts, though that full day is not yet complete.

The puppy hasn't disappeared from the channel's stories, either. Puppy dance clips and a girlfriend-focused pet surprise are also passing viewing milestones alongside the cat uploads. In the new video's comments, viewers are asking about kitten names and requesting a meeting between the pets, or simply a video with all of them together.
