Another behind-the-scenes upload and a version without that label also drew unusually strong starts, though this one has attracted the most views of the three.

The setup keeps the puppy front and center, with the dancers performing behind it. As their routine continues, the puppy lifts a front paw; the inset lets viewers see the human cues alongside the movement rather than just the finished dance.

The puppy also has a place in the channel's longer storytelling: James's surprise-puppy vlog was posted earlier this month. Here, the emphasis is on fitting a paw lift into the choreography.
