The Royalty Family adds 100,000 subscribers, without a viewing surge

The family channel's subscriber jump arrives between uploads, with birthday surprises and secret-sleepover stories filling its recent slate.

Why this story? The channel is adding 100,010 subscribers a day, 60 times a normal day (1,667).

The Royalty Family has gained roughly 100,000 subscribers in a day, but the extra subscriptions have not come with an unusual rush of views. Daily viewing is running close to its usual pace, a little below it, even as the subscriber count makes a much larger leap than normal.

That puts the channel at more than 36 million subscribers. There is no new upload accompanying the jump: its most recent video remains "WHO BETRAYED ME?", posted six days earlier. The timing alone does not explain what prompted the extra subscriptions.

The recent titles offer a family-sized mix of secrets and celebrations. "My Mom Can't Find Out About This…" preceded the latest mystery, while August paired "My Dream 16th Birthday Surprise!" with "My Birthday Was RUINED! Here's Why.." The latter's description turns the birthday drama into a question about stolen presents.

There is a different side to the channel's back catalog, too. Its most-watched regular upload is not a family challenge or a birthday surprise, but "Ferran - Baby Girl (Official Music Video) | The Royalty Family", released in 2020.
