Vision has a mansion full of artificial intelligences in his head, and Paul has paintings to decode. Heavy Spoilers' busiest new upload turns the opening episodes of VisionQuest into an investigation of identity, memory and the awkward business of becoming human.
"VISIONQUEST Episode 1 & 2 Breakdown & Ending Explained | Marvel MCU Easter Eggs, Review & Theories" has drawn roughly 267,000 views. Built around footage from the series, Paul's commentary follows White Vision from an Edinburgh pub into his mental mansion, where Stark's AI systems take human form. He reads a reference to René Magritte's The Son of Man as an image of Vision's missing identity, then examines Ultron's distinctly bleak interpretation of Hieronymus Bosch. The video includes a sponsored segment.
Viewers are doing some reference-hunting themselves. One suggests a connection between Vision pretending to hurt his back and Data concealing his strength in Star Trek: The Next Generation; others connect Ultron's hats with James Spader's Reddington in The Blacklist. Those are audience readings, rather than confirmed Easter eggs, but they give the discussion something more specific than another round of predictions.
The four-upload week also brought Paul's return to The Thing, with its practical transformations and unresolved question about Childs. That breakdown is currently drawing views faster than VisionQuest. Fastest among the channel's uploads right now is the new The Living Daylights retrospective: Paul compares Timothy Dalton's debut with Fleming's short story, visits the Aston Workshop and includes Caroline Bliss's recollections of playing Moneypenny. "Heretics Of Dune from Folio Society" rounds out the releases.
Across the channel, the week added about 1.8 million views, while subscribers remained unchanged. Daily viewing is below its usual pace; nearby in movie commentary, RedLetterMedia is having a busier-than-usual spell. For Heavy Spoilers, the newest point of interest is that Bond detour, with an Aston Martin V8 providing a particularly appropriate place to discuss the car chase.

What viewers say
Vision carrying the heavy kegs, dropping them, and pretending to hurt his back is probably a Star Trek reference. There's an episode of TNG where Data ends up back in the past and pretends to hurt himself when someone notices that he's carrying an anvil. And VisionQuest's showrunner Terry Matalas got started working on Star Trek and was the showrunner for Picard season 3.
@KingOfMadCowsSee it on YouTubeI think the hats obsession is also a clever nod to Spader's time as Reddington who was very known as "The Man in the Hat" and even had several eps where him acquiring a new hat was a plot point
@zom8680See it on YouTubeTelling someone else it’s a perfect time for them to sacrifice themselves is so Ultron.
