People are saying Kim Jong Un died…
A viral claim is not the same thing as a credible report, and John Casterline makes that distinction the point of his most-watched new upload. In "People are saying Kim Jong Un died…", he walks through online death rumors before noting that the posts lack credible sourcing.
"So it all just seems to be misinformation, and this isn't the first time we've seen something like this," he says. He then recalls a similar round of rumors in 2020. The Short has reached about 3.3 million views, and a separate upload, "Update on Kim Jong Un's Health", followed the next day.
That was only one thread in a fifteen-upload week. "Should I buy the TEMU car 😭" drew almost as many views as the rumor-checking video, while the titles also ranged from an AI girlfriend story to an iPhone prank. The strongest viewing momentum right now belongs to "Winter in Antarctica is SCARY 😭", followed by "Stop stealing iPhones 😭" and the TEMU car upload.
The channel added roughly 50,000 subscribers over seven days. Its daily viewing is currently below its usual pace, though that slowdown sits alongside a substantial week of catalog viewing. Among nearby commentary channels, Ozzy Man Reviews is close to its normal daily rhythm, while Drew Gooden is seeing a lift. For Casterline, the week's mix stretches from questioning an extraordinary online claim to questioning an extraordinary shopping option.
