Video taking off 14x its usual first day

Grant Cardone's 'Cash Is TRASH' earns a rare first-day return

On its own, the day-old video is moving at close to half the pace his entire channel usually keeps across everything it has posted.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 92,287 views a day, 14 times a normal first day on this channel (6,555).

Cash Is TRASHCash Is TRASH

"Cash Is TRASH" is the newest upload on Grant Cardone's channel. The title is three words long, two of them in capitals. A day after it went up, it had passed 70,000 views.

That is not how a new Cardone video usually starts. His uploads tend to have a gentle first day, and this one opened at roughly fourteen times that usual pace. One video is doing a large share of the work for a channel that already draws a steady crowd across its whole catalog.

The phrase itself has a history. Ray Dalio made "cash is trash" a financial headline at Davos in 2020. Cardone, author of The 10X Rule, has long argued that money should go into real estate and business rather than sit in the bank. The video's tags lean on that 10X brand, and his about page bills him as an equity fund manager and real estate investor. There is no description, so the title does all the talking.
