Jordan Prentice's report from northeast Calgary had drawn about 25,000 views within three hours, making it Global News' most-watched new upload of the week. Three people were killed and at least 16 injured in collisions involving two transit buses and other vehicles. One bus caught fire. Police say it is too early to establish what triggered the crashes.
The report was among fifteen uploads in a week that also brought a privacy warning from University of Toronto researchers. Its daily viewing is currently well below its usual pace, a different picture from the week's substantial total.
Away from the major news reports, two lighter uploads carry the strongest daily momentum among the highlighted titles: San Francisco Zoo's newly arrived capybara siblings and a Céline Dion Barbie modeled on her Oscars look. The zoo's pair arrived from Sacramento, giving the news shelf a small wildlife interlude.
