5:19Grian recruits Gem to help set up a Haunted Hermits jump scare for Pearl.
7:48The first teleport-trap attempt arrives here, followed by a reset and another test.
11:06Gem compares older tower-roof textures with new brick and wall layouts.
15:18Joel defends his towering wool statue during Gem's visit to his colorful base.
17:12Cinnabar bricks help tie the upper walls into the base's front rose window.

Roof detailing can wait when Grian has a teleport trap to test. GeminiTay's most-watched upload of the week mixes the patient work of finishing a cathedral-like mega-base with a rather less orderly visit from the Haunted Hermits.

In "Exterior Level UP! Hermitcraft 11 - Episode 31", their attempt to scare Pearl first floods her position and breaks the mechanism. After a reset, Grian's Creeper disguise manages to startle impulseSV. Back at home, Gem replaces older tower-roof textures with new brick and wall arrangements, then works cinnabar details into flat sections above the rooftops to connect them with the front rose window.

The episode also finds room for Joel defending his towering wool likeness against Gem's playful fire threats. It's quite a contrast with her announcement elsewhere in the video: "I've been nominated for a streamer award in a cozy category." Viewers are discussing the awkward statue in the background, the base's ominous nighttime atmosphere and the architectural details. One art-school viewer even connects the build with lessons on Gothic architecture.

Two uploads arrived this week. The other, "My Best Life Series Base! FINAL LIFE #1", is now attracting the most daily viewing in her catalog, while October's cushions-and-autumn-leaves Hermitcraft episode continues to pick up views behind both new arrivals.

Across the channel, the week brought roughly 1.2 million views, with subscribers unchanged. Daily viewing is running comfortably above its usual level. Nearby in the Minecraft neighborhood, GoodTimesWithScar is also having a busier-than-usual spell, while rekrap2 is quieter. For Gem, the new Final Life start accompanies a Hermitcraft exterior that's nearing completion.

What viewers say

Gem I just wanted to let you know that now in my school we are learning about gothic architecture (I go to an art school) and I could just recall so many things from your videos and it genuinely is helping me understand it so much better because of your awesome build :)

Looking up at the base at nighttime feels immeasurably like I'm walking up to an ominous castle in the middle of dark, endless woods, and that castle 100% has a vampire inside.

Can't wait for the dragons to be added around the base, could ya add one facing in the direction of Joels base for the funnies?

The irony of when Gem manually had to put rainbows on her thumbnails vs Joel's rainbow doing the work for her right now, lol.

at the end of this season, we need a compilation clip where we count how many times the towers were used for help with actual fires, vs how many times they were used to prank the Firefighters.
