Rebuilding A Destroyed $100,000 Toyota Supra Turbo
The tools got a breather. Michael Elsea posted no new videos, but Elsea's World added about 94,000 views across its library, with the Toyota Supra restoration supplying its strongest daily draw.
"Rebuilding A Destroyed $100,000 Toyota Supra Turbo" follows a neglected 1993 car through a strip-down, damage repairs and a return from blue paint to its original red. The finishing step carried a personal challenge: Elsea says this was his first time painting an entire car himself. The video includes a sponsored segment. Nearly two months after publication, the rebuild has reached roughly 633,000 views.
For something less stationary, "I Bought An Insanely Rusty Japanese Sports Car... Will It Make It 1400 Miles Home?" offers a Colorado pickup with plenty of work before departure. Elsea describes completing an unfinished turbocharged Nissan 240SX, converting it to manual and installing essential systems, then repairing repeated breakdowns on the journey home. Cadillac Ranch and a volcano stop give the trip something beyond roadside troubleshooting.
Subscribers stayed unchanged, and daily views are running well below the channel's usual pace. Its weekly viewing was close to Mustang Lifestyle's, while nearby QUIET SRT had a much larger week. Elsea's older Infiniti G35 rescue also remains among his strongest daily draws, another project built around getting an apparently hopeless car ready for a long drive home.
