Two turns from the title: Oliver Solberg's crash fills DirtFish's week
Toyota teammates Elfyn Evans and Solberg took the 2026 championship to the season's final stage, and DirtFish had Colin Clark and Luke Barry embedded with the team.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
WRC Drivers REACT to Crash that decided the Championship
The 2026 World Rally Championship went down to its last corners, and DirtFish was there for every one of them. Toyota's Elfyn Evans and Oliver Solberg arrived at the final stage with the title between them, and Solberg crashed two turns from the finish. Colin Clark and Luke Barry were embedded with Toyota for the decider, and the channel turned the moment into a run of uploads: the full onboard, the drivers' instant reactions, and a short asking whether this was the most incredible end to a WRC season ever.
Of those, the reaction video is the one carrying the channel now, past 200,000 views in four days and drawing more each day than anything else on the shelf. Two days before the finale, a short titled "It's NOT OVER YET for Oliver Solberg" had kept the door open. It was not over, until it suddenly was.
The week's most watched upload is still the one that opened it. As we reported here, Ford's return to the championship as a factory team after 16 years got off to a flying start, and it has since passed 285,000 views. Its comments read like a wish list: Subaru is the name most viewers want back next, with Peugeot, Mitsubishi and Lancia close behind, and many tip their caps to M-Sport for keeping the blue oval on the stages all these years.
Even with a title decider and ten new videos, the channel ran below its usual daily pace, and subscribers ticked up gently to around 440,000. Among the motorsport and off-road channels near its size, only Live The Dash gathered more views over the week, while Danny MacAskill and Axell Hodges were quieter than usual.
