"“I Don’t Exist ” — Doctor Who Iconic Scene ⏳" is a short excerpt from the BBC's long-running science fiction series. It went up five days ago on CineSavvy, a clips channel that bills itself as a place for movie recaps, reviews and recommendations, and it has just passed a million views.
Most of that came late. After a steady start, the clip suddenly ran at about twelve times its own usual daily pace. On its own it carried a sizable share of what the entire channel normally draws in a day across its whole catalog, and this is a channel that already lives on very large daily totals. The response is lopsided, too: likes by the tens of thousands, comments barely into double digits.
Doctor Who first aired in 1963. It follows the Doctor, a time-traveling alien who crosses space and history in the TARDIS and, from time to time, regenerates into a new face. The title names neither the episode nor which Doctor it is, only the line and an hourglass.
