A Grey's Anatomy family overstays its welcome, and Finding Forrester follows

The 'Visiting Hours Are Over!' clip has passed fourteen million views in six days, nearly matching the Doctor Who scene that carried the channel through September.

What does a clips channel do after a Doctor Who scene runs away with its September? On CineSavvy, it finds another crowd-pleaser in a hospital corridor.

"Visiting Hours Are Over! 🛑|Grey's Anatomy" went up on Monday and has passed fourteen million views. The scene is a family crowding a young patient's room, and the comment section reads like a support group: nurses, doctors and new parents trading stories of relatives who would not leave. Many viewers single out the actors playing the family, saying the irritation they feel is proof of good casting. Others focus on the father, who never stands up for his own child, and on the intern scolded for being "too emotional." Shonda Rhimes' medical drama has been running since 2005, which gives a channel like this a very deep drawer of scenes to pull from.

The other big mover is a short cut from Finding Forrester, Gus Van Sant's 2000 film with Sean Connery as a reclusive novelist mentoring a teenage writer from the Bronx. It started gently on its first day, then took off, and it is now gathering views about as fast as the Grey's clip.

Neither has quite caught "I Don't Exist," the ten-day-old Doctor Who scene, which still brings in the most views each day.

Together they have the channel running at about twice its usual daily pace. Among the movie and TV clip channels nearest its size, no other added nearly as many views this week, with ClipZone: Heroes & Villains a distant second.
