The runner-up could hardly be more different. The weekend's pop-culture entry, "What to watch for at this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards," sits third, well behind both. The rest of the Saturday batch, including a rolling live stream, a Cuba remark and nor'easter flooding on Long Beach Island, drew smaller crowds.
Among the news networks and broadcasters, CBS News sits second of nine by subscribers at 7.1 million. USA TODAY is a step above, and News Central is just below.
