Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

I NEVER Thought I'd be doing this in Forza...

Pressing the pursuit-mode button does rather more than make the car faster. In BlackPanthaa's "I NEVER Thought I'd be doing this in Forza...", it triggers a Knight Rider cutscene before KITT tears down a dirt road with extended bodywork and spoilers.

"We can put videos in the game, what are you talking about?" he asks, laughing. Then he slows down and discovers the air brakes work too. The mod is the week's most-watched new upload, with roughly 147,000 views. Viewers are talking about what community modders can add to Forza, while others simply want a full Knight Rider game.

That spirit of tinkering runs through the twelve-upload week. "We're Turning Forza Horizon Into Need for Speed..." and "NFS Most Wanted handling in Forza" explore another sort of crossover: bringing the feel of a different racing series into Horizon. Elsewhere, "The Japan Racing Game that Is ACTUALLY Exciting..." returns to Night Runners, with an R32 and customisation in the description.

The strongest viewing momentum currently belongs to "That NEW CLUTCH Gameplay!", followed by "All YouTuber Forza mods be like..." and the Night Runners upload. KITT supplied the biggest new audience overall, but there is plenty happening beyond the television nostalgia.

Across the channel, the week brought about 3.6 million views while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is currently above its usual level. Among nearby sports and racing-game channels, Danny Aarons also had a substantial week, while AR12Gaming's daily viewing sits close to normal. For BlackPanthaa, the distinctive pleasure was finding that a familiar Forza dashboard could suddenly summon an entire television transformation sequence.
