Istanbul fed the week. Clive Ibizugbe, the Boston-raised dancer who once went by Groovin Gorilla and now posts as Big Groove, spent his seven new shorts eating his way across the Turkish city, and every title doubles as directions: a street, a number, a district.

The first stop to take off was etcimehmet on Florya Avenue in Bakırköy, a meat-forward short that has passed half a million views. MahalAntep in Beyoğlu, whose name points to the Gaziantep kitchen tradition, is close behind. Elsewhere he crossed to the Asian side for a massive döner in Üsküdar, tried burgers in Ortaköy and Beşiktaş, and declared himself in fried chicken heaven at a chain with several locations.

The newest stop may be the one to watch. A kebab short from Karaköy, barely a day old, is already drawing views at a pace slightly ahead of the Florya video, the busiest of the week.

The audience is moving too: the channel is adding around ten thousand subscribers a day, on top of a base past three million. For a creator whose about text says dancing, staying active and food have always been the way to his heart, this week the food did most of the talking.
