Elder Scrolls Online's 'Season One' sets sail on Bethesda's channel

Three Fallout 76 Halloween-season uploads and a DOOM: The Dark Ages livestream with Hugo Martin filled out the rest of the six-video week.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

What does Bethesda put up at the end of September? Mostly Fallout 76 in a spooky mood. Four of the week's six uploads belong to the post-apocalyptic online game: "The Slasher - Grave Digging," "Slasher Fanatics," a second week of "Debunker News" and a short announcing that "Pint-Sized Phantoms have infested Appalachia!", Appalachia being the ruined West Virginia the game is set in.

The busiest video, though, came from Tamriel. "The Elder Scrolls Online - Season One Sails Ahead" went up on Tuesday and, in about fourteen hours, drew close to 15,000 views, gathering them faster than anything else on the channel. The two newest Fallout 76 clips sit right behind it.

The week's biggest total belongs to the DOOM side of the house. A Slayers Club Live stream of DOOM: The Dark Ages, with game director Hugo Martin reaching the chapter called Hell's Core, passed 40,000 views in five days.

The channel as a whole ran at well under half its usual daily pace. That was a common story among game publishers this stretch, with World of Warcraft, Zenless Zone Zero and Just Dance all running below their norms too.
