BBC Select made room for both stately-home treasures and dungeon-minded art history in its five-upload week. The Queen Elizabeth II installment of Antiques Roadshow drew the largest audience among the new arrivals, reaching roughly 13,000 views. Its familiar premise gives objects the floor: members of the public bring antiques for experts to examine and explain.

Close behind came “(Full Episode) Wonderland Gothic | S.01 Ep.01 Gothic Origins | BBC Select,” exploring a genre that stretches from Dracula and Wuthering Heights to Night of the Living Dead. The description connects its enduring appeal to people on the margins, giving the monsters a cultural question to answer. A separate Art of Gothic episode adds Andrew Graham-Dixon to that strand of the week's programming.

Bill Bailey supplies a change of scenery in the Hoi An opening of his Vietnam Adventure. The comedian's travel episode currently draws the most daily views of the channel's active videos, followed by Wonderland Gothic and Antiques Roadshow. A shorter Suez preview turns to the hour-by-hour events of November 6, 1956.

The subscriber count stayed unchanged. Nearby BBC Sounds had a busier week for audience growth, while BBC Select's newest viewing invitation is Bailey's mix of Vietnamese culture, landscapes and history.
