Paige DeSorbo and takeout keep Amazon Alexa's shelf busy

With no new uploads, the official channel's viewing includes a celebrity chat and a conversational food-delivery demo.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

#paigedesorbo met her match during her chat with #alexaplus.

Paige DeSorbo's Alexa+ chat has been on the shelf for more than a month, but it remains the strongest daily draw among Amazon Alexa's featured videos. The Summer House personality's appearance is billed as meeting her match with the assistant. This is Amazon's own product promotion, rather than an independent review.

No new uploads arrived, leaving a practical counterpoint to the celebrity conversation: "Demo: New Alexa+ feature makes ordering delivery easy". Daniel Rausch and Mary Anne Noskowski explain a food-ordering experience built around conversation, including customizing an order, asking questions and changing your mind. A separate cooking-is-off-the-menu clip rounds out the takeout theme.

The channel added about 128,000 views and a thousand subscribers over the week. Its daily viewing is modestly above its usual pace. Among nearby technology channels, The Tech Report had a much larger viewing week, while AWS Events and Apple Australia were quieter. Amazon Alexa's subscriber growth, meanwhile, came without a fresh video on the menu.
