Tom and Jerry's Volume 41 fronts Warner Bros. Classics' two-upload week

A Foghorn Leghorn collection went up the day before, and a Quackers compilation from ten days ago is closing in on five million views.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"Tom and Jerry | Mega Compilation | Vol. 41 | Warner Classics" is the latest long bundle of cat-and-mouse chases on Warner Bros. Classics, the studio's home for its vintage cartoons. It went up on September 27 and passed a million and a half views within three days, gathering more than half a million a day.

It had company, though less of a crowd. A day earlier the channel posted "Looney Tunes | Classic Foghorn Leghorn Mega Compilation | Vol. 4 | Warner Classics," a fourth serving of the loud Southern rooster Robert McKimson brought to the screen in the 1940s. It has moved at a far gentler pace than the cat and mouse.

The older uploads are still working too. Volume 40 of Tom and Jerry, built around Quackers the duckling and other bird friends, is nearing five million views after ten days. An eighteen-day-old Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote set keeps adding views as well.

The channel as a whole ran a little below its usual daily pace. Most film studios in its group were in the same soft spot: Lionsgate Movies drew about half its normal daily views, and Paramount Movies and Amazon MGM Studios also ran slower than usual.
