Clayface takes Gotham's shape-shifting horror into Fortnite on Warner Bros.
Tom Rhys Harries' villain gets a game crossover ahead of the film's October 23 North American release.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Clayface | Fortnite
"Clayface | Fortnite" promises melting islands, mobs to battle through and a villain who can become anyone, anywhere. Warner Bros.' game-crossover promo was the most watched of its new uploads this week, approaching 100,000 views.
The comments quickly became a character-design discussion. Viewers ask for a full clay-monster transformation, imagine disguising themselves as an opponent and wonder when Nightwing will get his turn. Those are wish lists, not announced features, but they get at what makes this particular Gotham villain an interesting fit for a game built around changing appearances.
The film campaign continued with "Clayface | I Feel Great," which is drawing the strongest daily viewing of the channel's uploads right now. James Watkins directs Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen, an actor whose restorative treatment takes a destructive turn. Naomi Ackie, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan are among the supporting cast. Watkins previously directed The Woman in Black, so haunted territory is hardly unfamiliar to him.
Across 15 new uploads, Warner Bros. also made room for a very different sort of chaos: The Cat in the Hat, including a bedazzling session with the Things. Its November release gives the channel a playful counterweight to Clayface's horror.
The channel brought in about 9.6 million views over seven days, with subscribers unchanged. Daily viewing is running at roughly half its usual pace, while Universal Pictures and OSR Digital are both having busier-than-usual days. On Warner Bros.' own shelf, the two Clayface promos remain its most active viewing destinations.

If there isn’t an emote where he turns into a full on clay monster like in the comics, I’m not gonna be pleased…
