Shogun 2's unfinished business occupies Volound's upload break
His Complete Edition critique moves from campaign-map changes to a check of his longstanding bug list.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Shogun 2: Cucked Edition IS NOT Complete
Volound has left the upload button alone, but not the question of what makes Shogun 2 complete. His critique of the Complete Edition, posted just under two weeks ago, is the most active of his older videos, drawing about 1,600 views a day.
The description lays out a fairly specific inspection: marketing first, then campaign-map changes, battle visuals, the tactical map and convenience features such as quick deals. Near the end, he works through his own bug list to check what was fixed. His verdict is sharply negative, but the useful distinction is between changes that make the game look or operate differently and changes that address the problems he cares about.
That also connects it to "Shogun 2 is about to be Rome Reheated," his earlier criticism of paying again for changes to a game already bought. Farther back, "Why Medieval 3 Will Be AMAZING!" remains active too, with a description that traces the series through Empire, Rome 2 and Three Kingdoms before considering its possible direction.
No new videos arrived this week, and the subscriber count held steady. Viewing has a different rhythm: the channel brought in roughly 38,000 views across the week, while its daily pace is currently well above its usual level. For Volound, the upload break has left a substantial Total War argument on the catch-up shelf, right down to the individual bugs.
