Michael gets a camping shovel. Vlad gets something considerably less suited to digging: a leaf blower. "Oh, a leaf blower? I like that," he says, before the sand starts yielding a decidedly mixed collection of treasures.
"If You Dig It, You Keep It - Challenge!" is picking up speed more than three months after its July release, drawing views at roughly six times its usual daily pace. The setup puts Vlad and Michael in separate sandboxes, with randomly assigned tools and appraisers Armando and Diego deciding what their discoveries are worth. The highest total wins, and a punishment awaits the loser.
Finding something impressive-looking is no guarantee of a useful score. Vlad's autographed baseball bat turns out to have a fake signature, although Armando still gives the bat itself some value. A dinosaur skull is also a replica. Michael, meanwhile, uncovers smart glasses, a skateboard and, eventually, a car door with components attached.
The tools get their own second act: Vlad draws a pooper scooper while Michael gets an electric cultivator. Armando offers encouragement: "It's not the size of the scooper, it's the person using the scooper."
Elsewhere on the channel, the scripted "I Met My EVIL TWIN!" has passed ten million views, adding a milestone to the older digging video's renewed activity.
