Sophia Laforteza's Forgotten Island video outpaces Universal's Other Mommy

Three days old, the Forgotten Island clip is gathering views faster now than on its first day, while a day-old Girls Trip scene runs a clear second.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Other Mommy | Other Mommy Is...Other Mommy | Other Mommy Is...

Universal Pictures sits fourth of nine by subscribers among the film studios and trailer channels, just behind Warner Bros. and a small step above OSR Digital. Its week was a mix of fresh promotion and catalog favorites, twelve uploads in all.

The standout is "Forgotten Island | Sophia Laforteza." It went up on Thursday and has not slowed since. It is gathering views a little faster now than it did on day one, and at a clip no other video on the channel matches. A companion piece, "Forgotten Island | Behind The Music," arrived earlier in the week to a much gentler reception.

"Other Mommy | Other Mommy Is..." still holds the week's biggest total, past two hundred thousand views, but its daily pace is now well behind. The surprise runner-up on speed is a day-old scene, "Girls Trip | Dina Crashes Out on Stewart With a Broken Wine Bottle," which is already moving several times faster than the Other Mommy video.

The seasonal posts kept things light. A "Pride and Prejudice" nod to the first day of fall and a Back to the Future farewell to summer drew smaller crowds, as did a Bridesmaids dress-shopping scene.
