Nuketown, a Resident Evil verdict and a Spider-Man slip on Tony Baker's shelf
The comedian's only new upload was a Call of Duty livestream, while a two-week-old movie review has passed 60,000 views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Tony Is Playing CALL OF DUTY
"Tony Is Playing CALL OF DUTY" is exactly what it sounds like: Tony Baker, the Los Angeles stand-up, streaming deathmatches instead of telling jokes from a club stage. It was his one new video this week and it had a modest first day. Its small comment section is mostly about the game itself. One regular walks back through a close Nuketown match and Tony's kill count. Another admits to mistaking the man in the thumbnail for someone named Pat.
The real work on the channel is being done by his movie reviews. "Resident Evil Movie Review," two weeks old, is still the video viewers reach for first, and it has passed 60,000 views. Its description has a small quirk for anyone who reads to the end: after promising a Resident Evil review, it asks whether you have seen Spider-Man Brand New Day. Perhaps a leftover from an earlier review? A second review, of "Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother," posted eight days ago, sits right behind it.
The audience held steady. Views ran close to the channel's usual pace, a little over 50,000 for the week, and the subscriber count stayed put at 331,000.
Among the shooter and battle-royale channels nearest his size, Tony sits near the bottom for views gained this week. That is no surprise for a comedian whose gaming is a side door rather than the main act. zimery is the one having a very big stretch, running well above its usual daily pace, and OpTic Audio Network gathered the most views of the group. SSJ Carter and Flakfire moved at roughly Tony's own steady rhythm.

I thought that was Pat on the thumbnail
@jaefrazSee it on YouTubeGreat COD Deathmatches Tony, especially that hard won Nuketown map victory. Every minute of that match was HOT 🔥 and you still ended up with 15 kills. I can't remember the last time you were winning against an enemy team on that map with game so close, at least in the past few months. By the way they call them rice hats, paddy hats, or sun hats because they're often worn by planters or harvesters in rice paddies. They were also called straw hats in Japan during the feudal era, when worn by masterless samurai/ronin.
