Vibe Report - Texas shows, Record Store Day release and more!

An album-sized spotlight set, followed by favorites old and new: They Might Be Giants have a fairly specific idea of a night out. Their latest "Vibe Report - Texas shows, Record Store Day release and more!" brings that touring plan to ParticleMen, the band's official channel, alongside news of a Live on KEXP release.

The update covers Texas, Washington, DC, and a New Year's Eve show in New Haven. The description promises an eight-piece band with three horns, two sets and no openers. Each show will spotlight Lincoln, John Henry, Mink Car or Factory Showroom, giving albums from different chapters of the band's catalog their own space before the broader selection begins.

The week's sole upload has drawn about 3,000 views. Beneath it, viewers are talking about recollections of decades-old shows, looking forward to Dallas and discussing the KEXP vinyl release. One remembers attending the recording; others are wondering where they will be able to find the record. The band says participating stores are not yet known.

Subscribers held steady at 204,000. Among nearby rock channels, Bad Religion had a substantial viewing week, while Jamie Robinson and The Interrupters also added views and subscribers.

On ParticleMen itself, the Vibe Report is currently attracting the most daily views of the featured videos. Behind it, "They Might Be Giants - Get Down (Official Video)," directed by Paul Sahre and drawn from The World Is to Dig, continues finding viewers, as does "They Might Be Giants - Wu-Tang (Official Visualizer)." The touring conversation has company from the music.
