  1. 0:36He sets up his profile and examines wheel-controller configurations in the browser interface.
  2. 4:22Career mode begins at the airport in Rachel's Nissan 350Z, surrounded by online players.
  3. 5:58Photo mode captures customized cars gathering, drifting and using hydraulics near the fountains.
  4. 12:04He visits the car lot and chooses a stock Nissan 240SX.
  5. 16:40A multiplayer Street X event tests the starter car; the result follows during the race.
  6. 18:10He joins a Bayview Bridge drag race, with a forgotten technique becoming important.

Rachel's Nissan 350Z is waiting at the airport, but this isn't the solitary career-mode start SLAPTrain remembers. Online players crowd the free-roam area, and by the fountains, customized cars are drifting and bouncing on hydraulics. He switches to photo mode to take in the gathering.

The fan-made browser port of Need for Speed: Underground 2 supplied the most-watched of SLAPTrain's seven uploads this week, reaching roughly 71,000 views. This is a community project, not an official rerelease. He explores player-created lobbies, buys a stock Nissan 240SX and takes it into Street X and drag racing. The old mechanics require a little remembering, too: after the bridge drag race, he realizes he forgot to draft.

Viewers are talking about more than nostalgia for the cars. Several describe the online free-roam as something they wanted when they first played; others single out meetups, engine sounds and memories of making their own entertainment around the map.

Underground 2 is also attracting the most viewing across his catalog right now. BeamNG supplies the other busy corners: the new "INCONVENIENT Section" scenario and his Bruckell Bastion drift build. Elsewhere, the Tandem Drift Leader app lets him record a run and then chase it, a rather different solution to finding driving company.

Channel-wide daily viewing is below its usual pace, while subscribers held steady over the week. Among nearby sports-and-racing channels, Hudson's Playground Gaming had a much larger viewing week; Duke Dennis 2K was quieter. For SLAPTrain, the week's distinctive stop was Bayview, where even the trip to buy a starter car came with traffic.
