How many continents can you eat on in a single day? Simon Wilson's answer is three, one per meal, and his newest video, "I Ate Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner on 3 Continents in 1 Day", had drawn more than 400,000 views within about eleven hours of going up.
It was one of just two uploads this week. The other, "£27 Sleeper Train in Kazakhstan 🚆🇰🇿", went up on September 23 and is still gathering views quickly a week later. It is the kind of trip his channel is built on: an overnight train, with the fare right there in the title. Nine days on, a first-class ride in Italy is still picking up a steady trickle, a more comfortable seat than the Kazakh berth, though far less busy now.
Subscribers kept coming at around ten thousand a day. Among travel channels of his size, most ran slower than usual, Tyler Morgan's Japan channel and Rick Steves' Europe among them, while Trek Trendy was one of the few moving above its normal pace.
