An oversized unicorn is the finishing touch. Shrekyou21 has already given her Dress to Impress avatar an upward-pointing ponytail, red scrunchies and denim-colored overalls, turning the Roblox runway into a recognizable little corner of Despicable Me.

The livestream, titled "PLAYING GAMES ON ROBLOX *LIVE*", has drawn roughly 1.7 million views since yesterday. Behind that broad title is a pair of animated-character makeovers, each assembled against the round's ticking clock.

First comes Zoey from KPop Demon Hunters, Shrekyou21's answer to the theme "Y'all'ternative". She builds the look with bangs, baggy boho pants, a belt and handheld fans. "We've got 2 minutes left, I gotta lowkey lock in," she says as the styling window narrows. The outfit eventually earns her first place.

For the next round, she buys the "Free Style" theme and puts an Agnes reference image on screen. The challenge shifts from interpreting a prompt to getting a familiar character's details right, right down to the yellow striped shirt and enormous plush companion.

By the runway phase, Agnes has company from the same film world: another player has arrived as a Minion.
