Salem Techsperts tries baby oil on an overheating Alienware
Andy's old liquid cooler resists cleaning, but the case earns a place in his rebuild plans.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I Put Baby Oil in My Alienware AIO To Try To Fix Overheating #tech #technology #shorts #pc
The Alienware reaches 102°C before Andy gets to the strangest part of the repair. Water and compressed air fail to clear its cooling problem, so out comes the baby oil.
Salem Techsperts' most watched new upload is a repair comedy, not a successful coolant recommendation. Andy explains how corrosion between copper and aluminum leaves debris clogging the cooler's fins. After cleaning, the temperature shoots straight back up. The subsequent absurd subzero sensor reading gets a space joke, rather than a declaration of victory: his straightforward answer is to replace the all-in-one cooler.
The Short has reached roughly 354,000 views. In the comments, the old Alienware case gets almost as much attention as the repair, with viewers discussing its top vents, futuristic shape and their own modern builds inside older shells. Andy has a similar destination in mind: gutting the outdated system and keeping the case for an AM5 motherboard and a much larger graphics card.
His other upload, "I Gave My Friend Full Control of My Shop. He Built THIS.", brought a longer shop adventure, with Lupe named in the description. Meanwhile, the Windows 11 Steam Machine Short remains the channel's most active video, with the Alienware experiment and the older beeping HP Omen close behind.
The channel added about 10,000 subscribers over the week, although daily views are running below their usual level. Among nearby tech channels, HTX Studio had a particularly expansive week; Salem Techsperts sat third for weekly views in that group. Here, an overheating relic supplied the new repair story, while its case supplied the reason not to throw everything away.

@MrwurtySee it on YouTubeI've got an old area 51 alx 7500 with a ryzen 7 7800x3d, a radeon 7900XT and 32gb ram.
I deleted the hard drive cage and cut the front panel to make room for a 240mm radiator and put a thick 120mm radiator at the back. I had to remove the 120mm side fan as the giant tuf 7900XT was barely fitting.
It still got a CD drive but the other two slots are taken by the Alphacool Eisfach Reservoir.@TheBonecrusherzSee it on YouTubeNice transporter effects 💯
