Choosin' Texas: Una Healy, Clodagh Lawlor, Claudia Buckley | Late Late Show Country Special
The Late Late Show spent its week in cowboy boots. Nine uploads went up, every one of the busiest from the 2026 Country Special, and the night opened somewhere few would expect a country show to start: with the all-stars, Nathan Carter, Claudia Buckley, Una Healy and Cliona Hagan among them, putting their own spin on Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)".
From there it went to Texas. Una Healy, Clodagh Lawlor and Claudia Buckley took on Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas", and that performance is the special's most watched clip so far. The tribute to Dolly Parton is the one still gathering the most views each day, a week on. Ashley Campbell brought something more personal: "Gentle on My Mind", the song her late father, Glen Campbell, made famous. Healy also returned beside Jesse Sludds, the singer who won the show's Opening Act competition in April, when she sat on the judging panel. And Nathan Carter, the Liverpool-born star of Irish country, got a surprise of his own, inducted into the Late Late Show Country Hall of Fame.
Away from the music, Emma Doran's bit on Irish mammies is still drawing a crowd nine days on.
The channel ran a little below its usual pace, with close to a million views over the week and about a thousand new subscribers. Among the talk shows nearest its size, Would I Lie To You? and LADbible Entertainment are having the big weeks, while Lorraine and Loose Women sit at a calmer pace.
