Mrbeast """"Wrote"""" A Book, and Pinely lets the quote marks talk
No new uploads in seven days, and the three-week-old video about Mrbook's new beast is past 600,000 views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Mrbeast """"Wrote"""" A Book
"Mrbeast """"Wrote"""" A Book" is the title, and the four sets of quotation marks do most of the arguing before the video even starts. It is the newest long video on Pinely, the commentary channel whose about page modestly promises videos that are "ok I guess," and three weeks after it went up it remains the one people are watching most, closing in on 620,000 views. The description calls it a video about "the most dangerous games" and "Mrbook's new beast," which is about as much of a summary as Pinely ever offers.
Nothing new went up this week, so the back shelf carried the channel. Behind the book video sits "Awful "Futuristic" Technology (ft. Kurtis Conner)," a time-travel tour of bad gadgets with the Canadian comedian and commentary favorite, now nearing a million views. Further back, a spring video on the Bitcoin cruise ship MS Satoshi, billed as a failed city on the sea, still draws a small daily trickle.
The channel ran slightly below its usual pace, about 140,000 views across the week, and the subscriber count held where it was. Among reaction and commentary channels of similar size, Rachel Louise and El Michelle are the busy corners. Sarah Z and TpindellTV are moving at much the same gentle speed as Pinely.
