Homeownership, fuel relief and two Alberta rallies for Pierre Poilievre

Nine uploads, from live events in Edmonton and Medicine Hat to a homeownership clip that drew the week's biggest crowd.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Where did Pierre Poilievre's channel spend the week? Mostly in Alberta, and mostly on the price of things. The Conservative Party's official channel posted nine videos, and they read like a map of one message: a live event in Edmonton billed as fighting for a stronger Alberta in a united Canada, then another in Medicine Hat built around saving on Canadian fuel.

Fuel ran through the rest of the week too. One clip promises an Emergency Fuel Relief Plan, and its description says Conservatives will force a vote on it in Parliament. Another argues that saving on fuel saves on everything. The most watched upload took a different turn: "This Liberal government does not believe in homeownership." It was the clear standout, and its comment section quickly filled with political argument.

The newest video is the most cryptic. "Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing." comes with a two-word explanation in its description, "After 18 months," without saying what the zero refers to. Even so, less than a day after it went up, it was picking up views faster than anything else on the channel.

The channel as a whole drew about a million views in seven days, running slightly above its usual daily pace, while the subscriber count held steady. Among political channels of similar size, that puts it near the top of the group. Rep. Joe Neguse and The Democrats had much bigger weeks, and Pete Buttigieg's channel was busy as well. For Poilievre, it was a steady week on the road, with the same message carried from one Alberta stage to the next.
