Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Dog Drives Tractor Around the Farm

Nearly ten million views came to The Pet Collective over the week, the largest weekly total among its nearby pets-and-animals peers. The subscriber count held steady, though, and its daily viewing pace is now well below its usual level.

The busiest of its new uploads was "Dog Drives Tractor Around the Farm," posted with a National Farmers Day greeting. It has reached about 75,000 views. The comments turn the title into an employee appraisal: viewers imagine a seasoned farmhand, suggest a ball cap and propose paying the worker in snacks. Nobody seems inclined to send this particular hire back to obedience school.

Elsewhere in the week's fifteen uploads, "Prairie Dog's Hug Attempt Ends in Hilarious Tumble" supplied an unsuccessful embrace, while "Kitten Sits on Man's Head" offered a rather more successful alternative to a hat. The latter credits FeelFreeStudios for the shared clip. A longer cat-fail compilation gave the feline contingent room to stretch out.

The uploads drawing views fastest right now are a different little trio: the Kelly Clarkson-tagged bird meme, a black-cat clip framed as a demand for service, and "Funny Cat Has a Unique Way of Playing the Piano." Its description supplies the musical joke, naming Meowtzart and Schoenpurr as influences. Between the tractor worker and the aspiring pianist, the channel's animals have quite a range of occupations.

Looks to me like he’s doing a good job and enjoying it! Excellent choice of an employee, give him a good raise when he’s done. A big bone would be accepted and appreciated.
