Friendship gets a skeptical look in Onevilage's sketch-filled week

Fifteen uploads include a Disney-show parody and "Why would you 😔💔," which is approaching a million views.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Why would you 😔💔

Onevilage usually draws roughly 13 million views a day across the channel. Daily viewing is now closer to 18 million, even as the subscriber count stays unchanged.

The busiest new upload, "Why would you 😔💔," has viewers discussing the kind of friend who refuses to let someone else have an easy escape. The comments turn its comedy into a question of friendship etiquette: why not simply ask for both people to go home? One viewer also hears a resemblance to Marvel's Ultron in the villain's voice. That's a comparison from the audience, not a guest appearance.

"Why would you 😔💔" is also the channel's most active video right now, with "It's All Different 😂" and "It's feels So Weird 😂" close behind in daily viewing. All three arrived on October 13. The newer "Disney Shows Be Like 😂" adds an explicitly TV-parody-shaped premise to the week's mix.

Among nearby comedy channels, Tyler Vitelli and LouisAyy had especially large weekly audiences, while Smosh Pit's daily viewing is also above its usual pace. Onevilage's own catalog brought in about 96 million views over seven days, with the newest friendship joke supplying its strongest individual momentum.
