NileBlue's government package meets the airport X-ray scanner
The channel's only new upload approaches a million views, with a CPR dummy giving viewers plenty to discuss.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
What did the government send me?
An airport X-ray scanner is an unusually elaborate way to investigate a delivery, but NileBlue has one available. In "What did the government send me?", Nigel introduces a mysterious package and proposes passing it through the machine before opening it.
The upload has reached roughly 946,000 views, and the comments suggest the scanner has become as much of an attraction as the CPR dummy inside the package. Viewers keep joking that the delivery was simply an excuse to show off the equipment. Others compare the unboxing to the opening of a horror movie, or imagine the mannequin becoming material for a future chemistry project. Those are audience plot suggestions, not announced experiments.
It was NileBlue's only new release this week, and it is currently the channel's busiest upload. The older "Eating the world's biggest pop rock" also continues drawing views, alongside "This is the purest salt I've ever seen," which puts Florida ocean water through a spray drier. Oversized candy, seawater powder and surplus equipment make a distinctly NileBlue assortment.
Across the channel, daily views are running at more than three times their usual level, while the subscriber count held steady over the week. Nearby in science and experiments, AstroKobi had a substantial week for both views and subscriber growth; Steve Mould's daily viewing was closer to its usual pace. NileBlue's fresh attention, meanwhile, centers on a delivery and the rather extraordinary tool used to inspect it.
