Should this have been a penalty? #nfl #football

How do you coach a physical runner after he gets flagged for lowering his helmet? John Harbaugh starts his answer by asking whether the cameras caught his argument with the referee.

He smiles at the question, but his defense of Skattebo's running style is straightforward. Harbaugh says he understands the rule's purpose, then argues that ball carriers need to get low to protect themselves and the football.

"Skatt runs low. You have to run low," he says.

NFL on CBS pairs the press conference exchange with game footage credited to Fox, showing the Giants playing Houston. The Short collected about 58,000 views in eight hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full first day for that format. Its comment section was also several times busier than a typical first day.

Viewers are discussing where hard running ends and an illegal hit begins. Several defend Skattebo's approach; another raises the question of whether offensive and defensive players should face the same expectations around contact. Others focus on Harbaugh himself, contrasting his smiling press conference response with the sideline reaction he asks the reporter about.
