Back up the Yukon for the Sisu Nasu: Wrecker Rick's Alaska return

Ryan from In The Trough escorts the family upriver by boat to the equipment left behind at spring breakup, and the 18-day-old episode has passed 2.7 million views.

What happened to everything Murphys Diesel had to leave behind in Alaska? That question is still carrying the channel through a week with no new uploads.

"Abandoned In Alaska's Grizzly Bear Country… Will It Start?" is the follow-up to the winter mission in which Wrecker Rick rushed north to help pull a Sisu Nasu, a tracked all-terrain vehicle, out of the ice near the Yukon River. As the river began to melt, some equipment had to stay put. Now it is summer, and Rick, Mrs. Wrecker Rick and the rest of the family head back, with Ryan from the channel In The Trough giving them a boat escort up the Yukon. The description promises a slower trip than usual: camping beside the machines, green wilderness where there was snow, and, this being Murphys Diesel, a fair chance something will need fixing.

Right behind it is a three-hour live replay of Rick building a barge in Alaska, nicknamed Large Marge The Barge, a laid-back Q&A with stories about HB, the custom Ram 5500 wrecker, and the Oshkosh 10x10. A month-old trip to flooded Kerrville, Texas, where the crew recovered a Navy veteran's three vehicles, including his grandfather's 1981 Chevy, and then helped with drywall and appliances, is still finding viewers too.

The pause barely shows. Daily views are sitting right at their usual level, and the channel added around 10,000 subscribers over the seven days. Among the aviation and machine channels nearby, the busier weeks belong to Captain Steeeve, Pilot Debrief and Tony 98 - Discovery, all running well above their own pace, while Diesel Creek is steady, much like Murphys.
