Sword4000 brings four creators into Minecraft battle royale
A new multiplayer upload accompanies a sharp jump in views on Sword, the creator's self-aware third channel.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 218,708 views a day, 8.6 times a normal day (25,557).
4 Creators vs Minecraft Battle Royale
Sword4000's third channel is getting fresh material, not just fresh attention for its older clips. "4 Creators vs Minecraft Battle Royale," posted October 27, has passed 200,000 views as Sword's daily viewing climbs to more than eight times its usual level.
That is a different picture from the channel's earlier October surge, when a month-old Strength SMP Short was its biggest daily draw. The new battle royale upload arrives after videos about searching for rare items and returning to the Strength SMP. Its description also singles out inproper's Wi-Fi for a complaint, a small multiplayer frustration amid the grander survival premise.
Battle royale is familiar territory here: "$10,000 Minecraft Battle Royale!" leads Sword's all-time list of regular videos, with an improbably won Hunger Games upload close behind. The new title returns to that competitive Minecraft corner of the channel, this time putting a group of creators front and center.
Sword is where Sword4000 puts material that did not appear on the main channel or Sword Extra. Even its own description acknowledges the excess: the creator jokes that having three channels is ridiculous.
