One video, big effect. Modest Pelican posted a single upload, "The Worst Game Ever Made," and it pulled more than a quarter of a million views on its first day alone. Three days in, it is still gathering views at a pace that dwarfs everything else on the channel, and it has lifted his daily total to roughly four times what a normal day brings.

The title makes a bold promise without naming the game, which is part of the fun: the channel's recent run leans on that kind of teasing, from "This game inspired GTA 6.." earlier in the month to "I finally played "that" game.." back in the spring. Both are still ticking along quietly behind the newcomer, the older one well past 600,000 views.

The subscriber count held still for now, sitting at 2.4 million. Among gaming commentary channels his size, it was a soft stretch almost everywhere, with Scott The Woz, Austin John Plays and AfroSenju XL all running below their usual pace. Modest Pelican was the one moving the other way.
