Kyle Istook puts Thin Mints through the mayonnaise test

Nutella and mayo meet pickles, waffles, fries and cheese sticks in the busiest of his seven new uploads.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Thin Mints dipped in mayonnaise are a tough assignment, even for Kyle Istook's experimental snack menu. In "Nutella vs Mayo #shorts," Kyle and his co-host pour the two spreads into glass pots and work through foods that give each a chance, though not always a fair one.

Pickles go to mayo. Toasted waffles go to Nutella. French fries produce a truce, with Kyle describing the chocolate-hazelnut pairing as "Sweet and salty, not bad." Then come the cookies: Nutella wins that round, while cheese sticks give mayonnaise a comeback. "It's like a sandwich," his co-host explains. Viewers are discussing mayo's more familiar jobs, from sandwiches to tartar sauce, alongside the merits of dipping fries in it.

The taste test reached roughly 139,000 views in its first 13 hours, making it the week's most-watched new upload already. Seven uploads brought plenty of other snack experiments, including pancake skewers, chocolate-covered bananas and upside-down pizza. That pizza is also gathering views briskly, while September's "Hot Sauce vs Milk 🥛 #shorts" remains among the channel's busiest uploads right now.

Kyle added 10,000 subscribers over the week, and daily viewing is a little above his usual pace. Among nearby food channels, Nick's Kitchen had a particularly large subscriber-growth week; Epicurious and Jamie Oliver had no net subscriber change. Kyle's own menu keeps mixing practical snacks with a question few recipe books would ask: what happens when a Thin Mint meets mayo?
