Ballpark bites and a froyo marathon with Kaitlyn Lavery

Her NYC food outings included Yankee Stadium, Hudson Yards' Eatscon and ten frozen yogurt shops in a day.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Does a great food city make for a great ballpark menu? Kaitlyn Lavery took that question to Yankee Stadium in "Everything I Ate & Spent At Yankee Stadium," the most watched of her ten new uploads, with roughly 457,000 views.

The replies turn into their own concessions conversation. Viewers discuss the steak sandwich's resemblance to fast-food roast beef, the value of desserts that come with souvenir containers, and the appeal of Mister Softee. Others bring recommendations from their own stadium visits, including Chicago's sushi push pop. Baseball is almost the side dish.

Beyond the ballpark, "Trying 10 Frozen Yogurt Shops in A Day" puts NYC's froyo options through a back-to-back comparison. Her Eatscon outing adds a food-festival stop at Hudson Yards, while "Everywhere I ate this week as a food content creator in NYC" mixes new sandwiches with old favorites. The week's lineup also included a paid World Teacher Day segment with Expedia.

Kaitlyn added about a thousand subscribers and drew more than three million views across the channel. Her current daily viewing is below its usual pace, though her weekly views were substantially higher than those of the nearby food channels, including Cocobelly Cakes and Selah Joy.

The busiest videos right now show how much room there is around the food. "When Your Man Is Trained" highlights Andrew's improving photography and some of the pictures he's taken of her. "Guess the number challenge" returns to a forehead-number guessing game she admits they're not particularly good at. Between them sits "Best Spots To Eat Before A Show in NYC," answering a recurring dinner question with favorites near Madison Square Garden and options worth a subway trip.

  • I am surprised to hear you say it and I totally agree. Mister Softee is such a guilty pleasure for me. Whereas so many viral things disappoint, it continues to delight.

  • i've been to a handful (maybe 8 or 10) mlb stadiums and by FAR the best food variety i've had is at rate field/the white sox stadium. last time i went, we got a korean fried chicken sandwich, quesabirria, some amazing polish sausages, and an incredible sushi push pop. and there was so much more we missed out on!! just great variety and so many options.
