Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Just Dance: Decades of Hits - Official Songlist Trailer

The songlist is the invitation; the performers behind the colorful coaches give Just Dance's launch week its more personal detail. Alongside the arrival of Decades of Hits, the game's official channel posted glimpses of the people bringing its routines to life.

Julie embodies Soëlis for Zara Larsson's "Midnight Sun," while Shirley Henault steps into Primina's role for Sabrina Carpenter's "Manchild." The latter is the channel's fastest-moving upload right now, despite arriving near the end of an eight-upload week. The "Midnight Sun" behind-the-scenes clip is also drawing more daily views than the launch trailer.

That trailer, "Just Dance: Decades of Hits - Official Songlist Trailer," remains the week's most-watched new upload, with about 173,000 views. It previews 26 of the game's 35 tracks, rather than revealing the whole selection, with music spanning the '70s through the 2020s. This is Ubisoft's promotional showcase for the game, not an independent review.

In the comments, viewers discuss the decade-spanning selection and the edition's distinct name and theme. Others want more Danceverse Stories built around the coaches: the characters evidently provide something to follow beyond the next routine.

The subscriber count held steady, while daily viewing is below the channel's usual pace. Nearby publisher channels offer a mixed picture, with World of Warcraft above its normal daily viewing and Apex Legends quieter than usual. For Just Dance, the launch trailer supplies the week's largest new audience, but the backstage performers are getting their own share of attention.

This is the best songlist since Just Dance 2024 and the maps are gorgeous. Your team outdid themselves! I really enjoy the variety that comes from going through the decades and the story mode is fun.
